Two things that I’m very thankful about having my husband Glen as my travel buddy are: 1) he has a great memory and can remember lots of details that I may miss or forget, and 2) he has a love for history and a gift for explaining it in a casual and engaging way that I understand and appreciate it better than a history lecture.
We thought of doing a podcast about our travel experiences for two reasons: 1) posterity on our part, so that Glen doesn’t have to repeat the same stories over and over when I’ve forgotten them again, and 2) to hopefully help you appreciate travel even more and plan your trips with more insight and information.
This is episode 1, where we talk about the our top three (four for me) most memorable historical experiences during our travels.
What is your favorite historical travel experience? We’d love to hear about it!
